Well… I have one, by some lucky circumstances. (i.e., a friend found in the grass walking on campus and gave it to me.)
It still works. Very well. I bought a charge cable, and hooked it up to my computer. Want to know how much space is on it?
30gb.
It’ has over 4,000 songs on it, roughly 17 and some odd number of gb of space taken...
Things I will enjoy about having my own apartment:
A bed I don’t have to literally climb into (i.e., not a bunk bed)
My own bathroom
Not needing to take my key with me when I need to go to the bathroom
COOKING!
And thusly, my own kitchen
A proper couch
Being surrounded my old people rather than fucking teenage girls
Not hearing, “WHOO! I like your penis!” being shouted...

We applied to another apartment
and they just called me.
I don’t have a definite answer, but it looks promising. It’s hard to keep myself from being too hopeful (because I don’t want to be disappointed again), but it seems to be looking up.
I might just have a place to live at the end of April.
